ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Macey Austin. I live in Dallas, Texas and I am a portrait photographer. I am originally from coastal North Carolina - born and raised! I attribute a lot of my love for capturing things to my hometown because it is so picturesque.

I grew up going to the beach, driving through the downtown parking decks listening to music, watching the sunset eating good food, and spent a lot of time with friends and family. I have witnessed a lot of beautiful moments and views that created such good memories for me. But I always craved a way to capture those times and be able to look back at them whenever. Now, I am a photographer who has spent years learning just how to capture those moments with my camera and create a keepsake for some of my favorite memories. I am here because I know I can do that for you!

I want to use my camera to create art and create friendships! Macey Took This lets me combine my passion for creating and helping others! Whether it is a photoshoot to celebrate a milestone or just to capture a certain season of life, I will curate your experience with me completely to you.   • I married my husband Landon this year! He is the best thing in my life :)

  • My faith in Christ is a big part of my life and I rely on Him daily.

  • I've lived in Utah on and off since I graduated high school.

  • I grew up in Wilmington, NC and spent a lot of time at the beach. I hope to move back one day!

  • I have 8 brothers! These are just a couple of them. We are never all in the same place at once haha.

  • I watch New Girl a lottttt. I am a total Nick. IYKYK.

You know a little about my background and my interests and I hope we can bond over listening to Taylor Swift or something like that. But I want you to know most importantly that as your photographer, it is my main goal to make you feel like your most confident self. It is truly a passion of mine to make you see yourself as others see you. I can take a photo of someone in the same place a million times, but the actual person I am photographing is what makes it different and interesting and beautiful! If you book me, I will make sure you know that you are seen, valued and admired…and comfortable to be yourself! After all…you are the art!
