Hi, I’m Macey!

I’m a portrait photographer living in Dallas, Texas, but I’ll always be a North Carolina beach girl at heart. I grew up by the coast, spending evenings watching sunsets, blasting music on late-night drives, and soaking up every moment with family and friends. Those little slices of life — the ones that feel like they belong in a movie — are what made me fall in love with photography in the first place.

My dad passed down his old camera to me years ago, and I haven’t really put one down since. What started as a way to capture my own favorite memories has grown into a passion for helping others hold onto theirs. To me, photography isn’t about stiff posing or forcing a smile — it’s about capturing the real stuff: the laugh you didn’t see coming, the way your little one squeezes your hand, the quick glance you share with someone you love. Those are the moments worth keeping.

Outside of photography, I’m a wife, a mom, and someone who loves finding beauty in the everyday. Whether that’s thrifting a new piece for my home, chasing my son around the park, or just slowing down to enjoy the simple things — those little moments inspire how I see through my lens.
